About the conference

The world is in a state of accelerating political, economic, social, and technological change. Organizations must interpret and respond to this changing world, often with considerable speed and without a clear understanding of the pathway forward.

Organizations are not, however, simply recipients of change. Through the strategies they pursue, the technologies they develop and deploy, the relationships they forge or abandon, and the practices they sustain or challenge, organizations actively shape the environments in which they operate. OSWC 2027 invites innovative, high-quality work from junior and senior scholars across micro, meso, and macro perspectives that examines how organizations change, whose interests those changes serve, and how their consequences are distributed.
